We're a team of passionate explorers who believe the greatest life is lived in motion. Our mission: inspire and equip the world's next generation of adventurers.
"Adventure is not outside man; it is within." — George Eliot
AdventurePath was born in 2018 when founder Marcus Hayden returned from a year-long solo traverse of Southeast Asia with a simple idea: the best travel writing comes from people who actually adventure, not from desks.
Today we're a global team of 12 outdoor specialists, photographers, and writers who collectively have summited peaks on six continents, paddled rivers in 30+ countries, and logged over 15,000km on foot across the world's wildest terrain.
We don't take advertising money from gear companies. We don't accept free trips in exchange for positive coverage. Every recommendation, review, and guide comes from real experience and genuine belief.
